[Free Courses] Loads of Video Lectures and Online Labs from Carnegie Mellon

Today one of our readers spotted our favourite sort of sentence while navigating the CERT part of Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

The SEI makes a portion of its information security training material available to the public without registration in the interest of improving network security across the globe.

Winner!

After some investigation it seems that as well as tonnes of articles and interesting reads on the CERT website, there is a whole stash of video lectures and labs available free of charge too.

You can check them out by clicking here (PRO TIP - sort by rating by clicking the column header)

We spotted(and tried) videos on DNS(Domain Name Service) and spotted guides for all sorts of security topics from Steganography, to advanced use of 'dd' through to IP V6 and the basics of router administration.

Video lengths vary as do age... but there are some real gems here.

Spotted some cracking free online training? Send the details to info@in2security.org.nz and we will investigate.
