About In2Security
In2securITy started out like most things do as an idea, voiced over a drink between friends. Though there are masses of professional and special interest groups in New Zealand for technical people, there is little in the way of groups to guide those just started out. Furthermore, a growing sense of frustration is emerging in the security industry. Demand for skilled professionals is at an all time high and yet the number of suitable candidates coming forward for jobs is dwindling.

The Team
Laura Bell – Director
From her early days supporting and developing taxation systems using technologies that make COBOL look new and shiny, through to writing real time radiation monitoring software for CERN in Switzerland, Laura has alway loved a technical challenge. After a brief sejour to study Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at University of Wales Aberystwyth, Laura finally found herself doing security work for a living. Several years of government work later, Laura moved to New Zealand where she works for KPMG as a security consultant. She specialises in offensive security.
